Summer Training Update

Summer is now upon us and we have a full schedule of ISACA Licensed CMMI training courses currently planned for the months ahead, so if you need training to take part on a CMMI or MDDAP appraisal team or are planning a process improvement initiative and want to see how CMMI might be able to help you, why not book yourself onto one of our upcoming offerings.

Which Course(s) Should I Choose?

Based on the feedback we have received, there still seems to be a degree of confusion as to which is the best training option to choose, so we have recently added a new item to our Resource Library to further clarify which course you should choose if you are starting out with CMMI (depending on your specific needs):

We offer both primary CMMI learning pathways (i.e. Building Organizational Capability and Foundations of Capability + Building Excellence course(s)) and usually run public courses for each path once a month, but we are happy to discuss private courses at a time and date to suit you should you wish to train several people at the same time.

New and Improved Murals!

One aspect of our on-line training courses which usually attracts a lot of praise is our use of the online collaborative whiteboarding tool, Mural, to provide a more interactive way of running the activities for our courses. Our Mural boards act like an online student workbook which enable teams to 'swarm' over the class activities in a much more collaborative way than a more traditional shared document approach.

In the spirit of 'Continuous Improvement', we have revamped all of our Mural boards to try to improve the student experience and add additional value to the class by supplementing individual activities with additional relevant resources to help provide additional context and insight into some of the concepts being studied. Our aim is to make our student's experience as valuable, informative and effective as possible and we hope that you will enjoy the updated experience.

We are constantly trying to improve and extend our training offerings and have a number of additional features planned which should be released imminently. These include:

• A new range of pragmatic process improvement courses aimed at all types of organization not just IT ones.

• A range of online, on-demand, self-paced mini-courses on subjects that support many of the concepts covered in the CMMI model

• Additional resources and interactive features aimed to supplement our existing CMMI Training courses.
