Certification Course
Terms and Conditions
This course is an ISACA licensed event that leads to an approved certification exam. As a result, it is governed by a set of policies that set minimum expectations for how the course will be conducted. The certification exam associated with the course is enabled on successful completion of the training course. To ensure successful completion, all students agree to the following additional terms and conditions:
Attendance at the Orientation Session
All virtual certification courses will be preceded by a short orientation session (usually help in the week immediately before the course starts). This is to enable introductions to be made, technology to be tested and confirmed suitable, and for a basic ID check to be performed.
Orientation sessions are mandatory parts of the course and students must attend. If you are unable to make the scheduled session, please contact the trainer ASAP to organise an alternative time.

Attendance at ALL Class Sessions
To meet the necessary requirements to enable the course to be marked as completed, students must be present for all class sessions.
• In an in-person class this means students must be physically present within the classroom at all times for ALL sessions.
• In a virtual classroom environment, this means all students must be on-line and on-camera at all times for all sessions.
Please do not plan calls or meetings during scheduled class time as this may result in the instructor being unable to mark you as having completed the course. It is your responsibility to ensure your are available for all sessions for the duration of the course. No refund will be payable in the event of a student failing to attend all class sessions and therefore being unable to complete the course.
If an emergency occurs that requires you to miss any of your class, please inform the instructor immediately to discuss remediation actions. Where possible we will always try to accommodate minor interruptions arising unexpectedly, but missing substantial parts of the course may require additional tutor time which will be chargeable and will need to be organized immediately.
Please also note that any additional tutoring must take place within the 30 day period from the start of the original class for which the student’s exam credit is valid and does not stop or reset this 30 day period.
Use of Webcams During Virtual Courses
A further consequence of the virtual training policy governing ISACA certification courses is that all students undertaking a virtual class agree to be on-camera at all times to enable the instructor to confirm their attendance and participation.
It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that they have the necessary hardware and software environment set up to enable them to fully participate on the course and to meet this requirement. For guidance on this, please see our guide to virtual worlking. Failure to remain on-camera during class time may result in the student not being marked as having successfully completed the class.
If you experience technical issues during the course, please let your instructor know as soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate minor problems provided this does not jeopardise the overall class schedule.

Personal Identity Check
During the orientation session for certification courses, you will be requested to produce an item of photo id (e.g. Passport, drivers license) to confirm your identity. You will be invited into a private breakout room session to show your ID to the instructor and will not be required to produce this publicly to the other people on the call. This ID check is a further requirement for ISACA certification exams and is mandatory. Please note that no copy will be made of the ID shown.
Technical Issues With Course Delivery
If for any reason there are technical problems that impact the instructor's ability to deliver the course, an alternative video-conferencing session will be organised ASAP. In the unlikely event that issues beyond our control prevent the course from concluding once started, the instructor will contact students individually to organise sessions to complete course delivery at a mutually acceptable time.
